- 225 g unsalted butter
- 125 g light brown sugar
- 100 g caster sugar
- 140 g self raising flour
- 245 g plain flour
- 1 tbsp corn flour
- 1 tbsp baking soda
- 0.5 tbsp salt
- 2 large eggs
- 150 g Cadbury Dairy Milk
- 150 g Bournville Plain chocolate
- 230 g walnuts

In a mixing bowl cream together the sugars and the butter with an electric mixer for 3–4 minutes.

Add the eggs one at a time until combined.

Mix in all the other ingredients except the chocolate and walnuts. Mix until the flour just combines.

Slowly mix in the chocolate and walnuts.

Shape into 9 equal balls and place in the fridge for at least an hour. Ideally overnight.

Preheat the oven to 200oC/Gas Mark 6. Place on a lined baking sheet spread apart.

Bake for 10 minutes. Cookies should be lightly browned but still soft to touch.

Leave to cool slightly on the tray and then transfer to a wire rack.
